We realize that being a teen parent can be difficult, demanding and often, overwhelming. We provide the knowledge and encouragement necessary to develop a strong and healthy relationship with your child. Our full time case manager will work one on one with you and your child in order to help you succeed.
We will help you to set goals for yourself and your child and equip you with the skills to achieve them. We provide referrals to local GED programs, career centers, academic development agencies, local health services, housing needs, basic needs (food, clothing, furniture), social services and mental health needs.
Our program enables you to spend quality time in your child’s classroom observing and participating in adult/ child relationships. You will expand on the parenting skills needed for the trials and tribulations of parenthood. You will be able to participate in monthly group meetings with other teen parents that focus on areas important to you. Topics have included: safety issues, money management, creating a resume, health and nutrition, etc.
