  • Little People’s College has been part of my family for the last 10 years. I have two children who currently attend Little People’s College. They both started by the time they were 3 months old, my son is now 10 and my daughter is 4. My daughter is in the preschool program and though she doesn’t start kindergarten until next year I feel that she is prepared to go this year because of Little People’s College. Little People’s College has an amazing curriculum program that prepares the children for kindergarten. When my son went for his kindergarten screening the teacher was very impressed with how much my son knew. My son has excelled academically and socially and I believe Little People’s College played an important role in that. Little People’s College is very family friendly orientated with a lot of family activities that they hold throughout the year. Little People’s College staff really care about the children and they make you feel like part of their family. My children love going to Little People’s College and I know that they are safe, well cared for and are having fun while they are learning.

The early education is invaluable, but LPC offers more than early education. The LPC staff ensured that my children received the best foundation possible when I left them in the care of their LPC “family”. Wednesday November 20th the toddlers at Sassaquin will have a special treat. The toddlers have been learning all about community helpers and they will view a community helpers puppet show at the center.

Tuesday, November 19th - 374 Rockdale will be having a community helper parade! The children will make headbands to represent the many community helpers we have and then march around the school.

November 18-22 The New Bedford & Dartmouth 3 year old classrooms will be baking heart shaped cookies, painting with heart shaped sponges, making heart necklaces and creating heart collages as they review the heart shape. The Common Core/Framework Connection is: identifying 2 dimensional shapes.

week of November 18-19 The children at our 321 Rockdale location will be creating a Family Recipe Cookbook. We are asking each child to share a family holiday recipe. Together as a class, we will combine them all and make a family traditions cookbook.

Friday November 15th is Pilgrim Day at the New Bedford preschool and toddler programs. The children will learn about Pilgrim customs and design their own pilgrim costume they may choose to wear at the school's Thanksgiving feast.
