Tucked neatly in an alcove of a quiet, dead-end street, the spacious one acre property remains a favorite of children, aged one month through 12 years, as well as their families. Conveniently located just off Route 6, we border Old Hammondtown School.
The spacious playground, shaded naturally by our allotment of trees, offers children the opportunity for exciting games, including the all-time favorite, Hide and Seek. Special “niches” at the base of tree trunks give little legs a chance to relax and little minds a chance to engage in a story book.
An array of climbing toys presents diverse challenges to youngsters and promotes large and small muscle development. An area, free of trees and toys, allows for ball play and other games and activities. Jumping in “piles of leaves” ranks number one as the Fall fun favorite for this group.
Our youngest crew enjoys a designated play space of their own. Young explorers make fascinating discoveries as they test their skills on toddler sized equipment. Bubble catching and push/pull toys encourage parallel play. Infants enjoy the refreshing outdoors during daily buggy walks in addition to swinging, bouncing, or exercising in the play area.
